Three quick checks before you buy:
- Look for “Made in Canada,” not “Designed in Canada.” Only the first means the garment was manufactured here. “Designed in” usually means produced elsewhere.
- Check the brand’s own manufacturing or about page. Genuinely Canadian-made brands say so plainly and often name their city or factory.
- Watch for supply-chain detail. Brands that knit, dye, cut, and sew domestically tend to spell out those steps — vagueness is a red flag.
